SPR# ATHN8RF8XW - At times after a bad upgrade/install which may happen due to network or system issues, Notes may fail to launch. User would see the splash progress bar looping infinitely. This is due to the exit of notes2.exe on encountering some exceptions during startup. The fix throws an error after waiting for 2 minutes for the Notes window to appear. The timeout can be configured using CheckNotes2Exists_Timeout=(value in milliseconds: minimum 10000). The timeout can be disabled with CheckNotes2Exists_Timeout=0. Such install/upgrade issues may be fixed with a reinstall.
