SPR# HYAI8FGC2B - Correct display of values in checkbox, radio button, list box and combo box controls in read or edit mode on the web server.
This comes about if the keyword list has trailing spaces and the item value was initially set with the notes client.
The web server trims trailing spaces where the client does not.
To allow compatibility with the client but not risk breaking existing web applications that rely on the current behaviour, the new HTML Option -- FieldKeywordTrim -- is introduced. With the default value of 15, the web server works as before. Setting the value to 5 will allow the web server to behave like the client.
The option is a series of flags:
1 - trim blanks from left of keyword
2 - trim blanks from right of keyword
4 - trim blanks from left of keyword alias
8 - trim blanks from right of keyword alias
The option is settable in notes.ini using DominoHTMLOptions=FieldKeywordTrim=5.
The option can also be set for specific forms using the $$HTMLOptions special field.
